WINEMAKING
Specific parcels of fruit were selected across a variety of regions in South East Australia, including quality fruit from the warmer parts of South Australia including McLaren Value (34%) and Currency Creek (18%) with a sprinkle of Claire Valley. This resulted in a very drinkable wine offering ripe fruits and soft tannins. The fermentation of the fruit was across a span of 5-7 days at mild to warmer temperatures. Wines then spent up to 9 months in contact with a mixture of new and second-year oak prior to bottling.PALATE
A rich and intense palate of dark fruits, complemented by velvety tannins, delivering a balanced finish.PEAK DRINKING
